Bill Zimmerman enjoyed a career as a prize-winning newspaper writer and editor at Newsday.  Drawing on his experiences as a newspaperman, he founded MakeBeliefsComix.com, a free online resource to promote creativity and literacy. Users of the site can create their own comic strips online to express their ideas and creativity, discover graphic printables to encourage writing and drawing, and download free writing tool and e-books. Zimmerman has a BA in American Studies and Literature from Queens College.
